Harsil Valley

Harsil Valley, nestled amid the majestic Himalayas and a dense cover of pine and deodar trees, with the River Bhagirathi gurgling through the area, offers a serene escape for nature lovers. This picturesque village sits at 2620 meters above sea level and boasts numerous trekking trails for adventure enthusiasts. Harsil Valley is an unspoiled jewel hidden in the Himalayas. The beautiful valley is filled with oak and deodar trees. Located 200 kilometers from Dehradun, Harsil is also a stopover for pilgrims embarking on the Char Dham Yatra, as they pass through this serene valley. Gangotri, one of the Char Dhams, is only 17 kilometers from village. With pleasant summers and chilling winters, Harsil is situated 72 kilometers ahead of Uttarkashi on the Uttarkashi-Gangotri Road, making it an accessible yet secluded destination.
