Gangotri, one of the Char Dhams, is only 17 kilometers from village. With pleasant summers and chilling winters, Harsil is situated 72 kilometers ahead of Uttarkashi on the Uttarkashi-Gangotri Road, making it an accessible yet secluded destination.
