The Hill of Crosses is another must-visit spot, where visitors can see thousands of crosses that have been placed by pilgrims. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a range of outdoor activities, such as cycling, zip-lining, and hiking, or take part in one of the many cultural events that take place in the town throughout the year. When visiting Rumsiskes, travelers should also keep in mind that the town is quite rural and the nearest major city is Klaipeda, which is about 40 kilometers away. Public transportation is limited and a car is recommended to get around the area. Additionally, most attractions, eateries, and stores are closed on Sundays.
